NBK Auto Repair

Our first Paradise Business Spotlight is NBK Auto Repair located at 594 Oakwood Lane, right off of the Skyway, in Paradise. To say the owner, David Kerhoulas, is a lifesaver would be a complete understatement. I had the opportunity to visit David's shop recently and I must say, he is a rock star in his profession!

NBK Auto Repair is a locally owned family business, David has been at his current location since February 2016, but has 15 years experience as a mechanic. His shop handles both foreign and domestic vehicles-gas and diesel-and motorcycles, in addition to welding and fabrication. AND...financing is available!

I first visited his shop when my car had refused to start. My husband and I had the alternator checked out at a local parts store and were told there were no problems with the alternator. So out the door went the "do it yourself" mentality and the search for a mechanic began. My husband and I ended up driving to NBK and explained the "symptoms" to David along with our tale of the local parts store test results. He immediately came back with, no it's the alternator. I must admit, I was skeptical since it had been tested. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised when within 30 minutes the new alternator was installed, the car started up perfectly, the battery warning light was gone and I didn't need to sell my first-born to pay for the repair!

On a five star scale, David at NBK gets 6 plus stars in my book! He is professional, knowledgeable and affordable-and the cute little black lab puppy, Thor is a bonus to play with while waiting for your repair!
